-Prisoner-

I'm tired of being alone
my shattered heart beating
Wish these feelings turn to stone
so I can end my living.
I'm a prisoner trying to be free,
clawing at the walls, but then
I realize all I'm hurting is me
as I fall broken once again...

But to stand is my only choice
can't stop breathing, can I?
A prisoner without a voice
no one will kill me, may I?
Running out of reasons to hang on
the fire of life is flickering
and with just one gust, I'm gone.
I'll finally begone and unliving.
No longer a prisoner of life
for Death will set me free
I will be It's wife
as long as It doesn't make a prisoner of me.

Kind of how I feel, that Im living inside a shell that I want to break free, a prisoner of what people know of me, what I have let myself be around them, when now all I want to be is free... to be me
