Ending

I closed eyes to find some simple sanity

Something I could hold to,

But I was looking in the worse of places.

----

I broken the gloss over your eyes with a kiss

As I always did,

Yet your touch had gone stale

Like static air.

----

I ventured in my forgotten desires,

My untold secrets and many ghosts

There I found satisfaction.

----

Your words pierce my flesh like fishhooks

Digging deep with every pull

Luring me into something without passion

----

It was a satisfaction without sanity,

Without the meaning I had been in search of

Grasp I so wholly wished for.

----

I could see myself with you,

Wasting my passion on your hunger,

My vitality sucked in your thirty mouth.

----

I want something more

An end to my story,

A final moment of justification.
