I scream until my voice is hoarse

I scream until I can taste blood

Silently I scream for help

In fear of what may happen if I screamed

And prayed

And hoped

Out loud

Fear of what might not happen

Fear that they would only laugh

Only tell me to smarten up

So silently I scream for help

Silently I take a knife

And drag it slowly across my wrist

And watch the blood well up

Spill off of my skin and to the floor

Silently I bleed

Silently I cry

Silently I shriek

Silently

Silently I die
