I used to fear it.
The dark.

become one with the shadows.
Let the night,
close its cap around me.
Swirling masses of nothing,
dances before my eyes.
I feel myself spinning,
down and down.
I forget all my pain,
when the dark closes
around my tender body
Forget everything
and everyone,
just darkness
everywhere...
