Have you ever felt

the complete loneliness

that comes with being ignored?

The coldness

that spreads from your core

until you start to shiver

The self-loathing

that haunts you,

telling you of everything you did wrong

Eventually

the initial pain fades

but you are still left to wonder

what you did to make them hate you

I have felt this loneliness
