So it's almost Christmas and my seven year old brother is screaming because my twelve year old brother hit him and I'm not supposed to be on because our parents recently restricted our computer time and the computer's supposed to be shut off by now.... breathes So.... yeah. Anyways, I haven't posted anything on my other stories posted here for several reasons. First of all, I realized at some point that EWWW, the Erika Lyasin story SUCKS. I'm so sorry I wrote it and sorrier that I posted any of it. coughs Ahem. That being said, I'm also suffering from MAJOR MAJOR MAJOR writer's block. As in....gasp- I haven't written a THING this year worth even spitting on. . I hate it. So... I figure what with this break being so antisocial (stupid holidays) and my fingers still sore from my attempts to learn how to play the guitar, I might as well attempt writing. So, anyone who's reading, enjoy? sweatdrop And PLEASE comment, I'm so out of practice at writing, anything would be a tremendous help.

Fool that you are, fool that I be

Singer or songer, which one is me

Are we a duo, or a duo of three

It's hard to tell with only one eye to see

So if you don't mind, let my soul free

Completely

-

Hat oh hat oh where have you gone

While you've been missing I have grown strong

My face is more shapely, my hair now is long

We'd fit well together now, like a piece of a song

Where the melody and harmony never go wrong

So return to me and we'll travel along

A pair of travelers, among the throng

-

It seems to me that songs are like a flirt

Simple, uncomplicated, firm and curt

They arrive in time to heal the hurt

To appear as lyrics on someone's shirt

Then quickly quickly they desert

Leaving you with only memories-

Of a concert

-

On my computer, there are lyrics galore

Like files of music, they sit and wait for

My interest to stir, my break from a chore

When my mind's full of thoughts and yearning for more

Like an eye for the future, for all that's in store

When I finally decide to no longer ignore

When my lyrics become songs, when my songs become lore

-

Muse, oh my darling, won't you help me seize

An understanding of this guitar's melodies

For I cannot follow, I fear and I freeze

My brother finds it easy, like a kite in a breeze

So muse of song, won't you put me at ease

Keep Master Music from being a tease

Let me master the master of the musical seas

Pretty please

There SHOULD be thirteen of these, but at the end, my brain died. This's like that thing I learned in writing class where you write 13 different short poem pieces about the same one idea or word. In this case, my one word is (obviously) song. There's my explanation, gone now. Meep!
