A Treasured Friend
A friend like you is a friend to treasure
You're a friend I love, and it's a pleasure
I desired so much for a friend like you
That seeing others would make me blue
But now I have a friend in you
A friend so lovely, a friend so true
I can in you always confide
And make some peace to my tired mind
There is a saying so true so nice:
That a trouble shared is a trouble halved
And now it has come true for me
For I can share mine (with you) over a cup of tea
There is a sense of comradeship
Far much greater than friendship
I feel that we maybe siblings
And it is really tingling
That we are so close
And not some foes
I love you for a chum
More fun is to come!
A friend like you is a friend to treasure
You're a friend I love, and it's a pleasure!
Let's make this friendship last forever
Let us break up never or ever!
A FRIEND LIKE YOU IS A FRIEND TO TREASURE!
AN: (It is not really a rhyming poem and it doesn't seem to have a poetic feel. Pkese R&R and tell me how I can make it bette! Thanx!.)
