The blade shimmers against my bare flesh

Remember, down, not across, and watch the colours mesh

Drops of me spill like crimson tears I've yet to shed

Veins of purple rip like the fibers of delicate thread

So insignificant are the pains of life as it pours forth from my wound

If I cry, cut deeper..

Watch me bleed

Hear me breathe

If I proceed, I'll succeed

And I'm alone once more

Just give in to the agony for the greater good

Throw away a life of a child, the misunderstood

You convinced me that I've been sick all my life

And now I end this pain with the slow twist of this knife

My reflection shows me no more than imperfection at it's worst

Don't cry for me...

Watch me bleed

Hear me breathe

If I proceed, I'll succeed...

Watch me bleed

Hear me breathe

If I proceed, I'll succeed

And I'm alone once more

All alone...

once more...
