When sweaty palms reach sweaty thighs
When tongues christen foreign grounds
When the world I once knew disappeared the moment I tasted you
I screamed your name in vain
In a room were love was never understood
In a room where a basketball guarded the door
my faith was held in that ball
In a room were you were never allowed on top
You were too rough and refused to stop
The way we kissed and got lost in each others eyes
Was enough to drown out my doubts
The way your dark thick hair was caked to your face with sweat
And your eyes rolled back in your head
And my name rang from your lips with certain happiness
The minute we walked in that room the rest of the world was forgotten
And lust took over
Your calloused manly hands grazed my back
As your tongue slithered its way into my heart
The way my heart shattered in that room
When you found out I knew
Your eyes moistened while mine filled with disgust
A barrier was broken as was our trust
I screamed forgotten words at you
As you put away your clothes
Obviously oblivious to the fact tears were streaming down my face and blood poured from my arm
Our love was left in that room that day
I still swallow my heart every time your name comes to mind
When sweaty palms reach sweaty thighs
When tongues christen foreign grounds
When the world I once knew disappeared from the moment I tasted you.
