Loneliness
The epitome of human emotion
The feeling, the fear
That shakes the heart of this boy

Bitterness
Frustration
Anger
Hate

The most basic of human emotions
The ones I suffer the most
The most intense fury
That born of denial

Denial of wrongs
Denial of truths
Clouded judgement
And overbearing love

Unrequited care
And lost hope
Sadness binding
And wrath arising

I watched you grow
Fed you and clothed you
I gave my life for you
For you to be happy

Yet now look what you’ve done
Empty heart and iron will
Cast me away and kick me down
Leave me be, the leper

Wretched freak
And scorned outcast
Burned and broken
Staked at the altar

Crucified by many
Loved by none
Scorned by many
Destined to be alone

I pledge my life
Pledge my heart
Pledge my soul
To stand with you,

Even if you don’t desire
So be it
Then let me rot
From dust to dust
From ashes to ashes
