Chapter 2: Lilly

The boy Marie was looking at was bout 5’2” with the most dazzling blue eyes she had ever seen. He was naturally pale with freckles that spotted across his nose. He had his long platinum blond hair pulled into a low pony tail. He was wearing a little blush and purple lipstick which matched his purple eye shadow. He wore skin tight black leather pants and a tight black shirt that showed just enough of his stomach to show off is belly button ring.

“That’s Mark, my…”Kris trailed of and Marie knew that being gay was still hard on him.

“Boyfriend, I believe you wanted to call him your boyfriend right?” Marie looked to Mark for the answer seeing that Kris was thorough embarrassed that someone who knew about his former life was being introduced to his present life.

“Kris, You okay?” Mark asked walking over and putting an arm around his lover, Kris leaned into him and nodded, in answer to both Marie and Mark’s questions.

“He’s not usually like this,” Mark said worriedly looking to Marie for some type pf answer.

“Its me,” Marie said, she was still rocking Lilly gently to calm her, “I knew him when I was younger, and I guess he’s a little ashamed about his old life.” Marie shook her head when she saw Mark was about to ask another question.

“She’s normally not like this,” Marie said jokingly to Mark. He smiled and they both led their crying counterparts to the dormitory level. The good thing about the Safes were that each and everyone was set up exactly the same, and every couple always had a mini apartment area in which they would allow singles and hoppers to stay in the spare bed room.

Marie followed Mark to his apartment and he invited her in. They sat at the table, Kris had recomposed himself and was sitting next to Mark, and Lilly had also recomposed herself as well but was sitting on Marie’s lap.
