Tabby Cat

Sleeping cat, do you not know
That you rest on a broken clock
Hand still stuck on midnight?

I've been waiting behind
This dusty window
Hoping you would see
Me here and set me free
Tabby cat

Sleeping cat, do you feel the rain
Pounding on your back?
Doesn't the thunder frighten you?
Sleeping cat

Did you paint those gray stripes on your back?
Did they simply appear?
How can you still smile
With those depressing shades as your fur?

I've been waiting behind
This dusty window
Hoping you would see
Me here and set me free
Tabby cat

Tabby cat, tabby cat, oh sweet cat
Such a trickster waiting for your prey
Such a gentle beast wanting to play
But dear tabby cat I cannot come out
And join you in the rain
For I am locked up in a rusted cage
Sitting by this broken window for you to see

I've been waiting behind
This dusty window
Hoping you would see
Me here and set me free
Tabby cat

Jina-chan: Oooh pretty. No people, I'm not obsessed with cats. It's just it would be cute to have a cat sing a love song to another cat. Kind of like 'The Lady and the Tramp', Kitty style. lol. Review everyone.
