Ju-on Syndrome III

Please Read: This is loosely based off of the Ju-on movies from Japan. I do not own nor have I worked on it. The characters, except one, are copyright of me however and most of the story is part of my own ideas for making the Ju-on series a little more interesting. Note there has also been a change in the rating for some of the material. Again this is mostly an original story so please don’t complain that it doesn’t follow the real series.

Thank you.

Vector:

“Where are you, you little bastard?” Vector held a frying pan in her hand tightly with Kirara plodding after her slowly.

Kirara then screeched as claws tore into her. She turned and clawed the black cat making him hiss and shake his head violently. Vector then kicked him into the wall nearby before he hissed and lunged again. The was blocked as Kirara jumped up and kicked him back with her hind feet.

“That thing acts so friendly to Espio yet look, we’re the ones it attacks.” Vector said as Kirara hopped onto her shoulder.

Vector then ducked as a knife became embedded in the wall behind her. The cat hissed as it stood in the doorway across from them.

“What’re you defending Miroko?” Vector asked.

The cat fell silent and blinked before yowling and causing another utensil to fly after her and Kirara. Vector yelped as it pinned her long ponytail to the cabinet door behind her.

“I have my hair the way I like it, thank you.” She pulled the item out of the door and threw it at the cat.

Miroko yowled and darted out of the way before stopping and hissing as several items flew after her. She deflected some with her frying pan but others lodged into the wall behind her firmly. Miroko yowled shrilly with the glass from the window behind Vector shattering and raining behind her, barely missing her and Kirara.

“Where in the hell is Espio when all of this is going on?!” Vector rasped.

Miroko smirked then hissed as Kirara pounced on him. She pinned him and raised one of her paws above his neck before launching out her claws and bringing them down. She mewed and blinked as he disappeared.

Kirara looked around along with Vector seeing there wasn’t any trace of the cat. But there were quite a few signs of the battle. Vector moaned and looked at the mess.

“We’re gonna be cleaning for a while.” Vector sighed.

She then grabbed a steak knife from out of one of the doors and looked at it.

“These’ll need to be sharpened again.” She said.

----

Vector looked at the kitchen then at the clock. It had taken the rest of the day and quite a bit of the night to clean up the mess. At least there wasn’t any sign of that damn black cat. Kirara mewed and finished dusting off a low shelf where various items sat with her tails. Vector then picked her up and looked around.

“Let’s hope it stays like this.” She said.

Kirara mewed and nodded. Vector then noticed Kirara had two tails. Since when did that happen? She only had one fluffy one before. Vector was positive of that.

“One strange little kitty, that’s all….” Vector muttered making Kirara mew out of curiosity.

----

“The other one knows who I am now.” Miroko said.

“So what do you want me to do?” Katsuya asked.

“You’re the independent one, think!” Miroko hissed.

“Fine, I’ll handle it.”

….

A shadow crossed the floor from the doorway as Vector and Kirara slept. Espio walked in silently, clutching the same cleaver from before. Kirara mewed then blinked before darting off the bed and hiding under it as Espio stood beside it.

Espio then raised the cleaver above Vector’s head and brought it down. Vector blinked awake then gasped as she was facing her reflection in the blade. She rolled over and yelped as the cleaver was brought down again, this time cutting into her hair. Vector whined then sat up before ducking at Espio swung at her.

“Are you insane?! Stop it!” Vector stood on the bed then jumped off and tried to run past her.

Espio grabbed her ponytail as she got past, making her howl.

“Let go!”

Again Espio swung at her head and cut her ponytail again. Vector then pushed her back and whined as she looked at her slightly shorter hair.

Run away already! What am I doing?! Run away Vector!

Espio tried to swing at her again then was thrown back by Kirara. Kirara mewed and looked at Vector.

“Eh…what the hell?” Vector watched Espio get back up.

Blood splattered onto the floor from Espio’s mouth before she picked up the weapon and grinned at Vector.

“What’s wrong with you?! Stop!” Vector screamed.

Vector grabbed a thick book from her dresser nearby and held it up, blocking the cleaver. Vector forced her back and ran out of the room as Espio staggered slightly.

----

Kirara meowed and pawed at Vector as she opened her eyes slowly then sat up. She looked around then saw the frayed ends of her hair, remembering last night.

“Where is she? Where’s Espio?” She looked around.

Kirara meowed. Vector blinked then saw daylight streaming through the sliding glass windows ahead of them. Mrs. Takeda’s room? Was Vector really insane enough to stay inside the house?!

She bit her lower lip and carefully stood to look around. Vector sighed and hugged herself as she walked back out into the living room. No sign of Espio. She then walked out toward the front door cautiously. She poked around the corner to the hallway and saw it was clear yet. Vector then squeaked as Kirara bumped into her.

“I don’t care anymore. I’ve had it. Let’s just get what we can and run.” Vector whispered.

Kirara mewed softly and trotted after her down the hallway. Vector looked up the stairs then to the kitchen again to make sure Espio wasn’t down here.

“Why didn’t we just leave after that woman did? None of this would’ve happened. I have a feeling it’s only going to get worse too.” Vector said quietly.

She and Kirara then walked up the stairs slowly only to find the upstairs a mess.

“Then again…I’m getting dressed and we’re leaving Kirara.” Vector shivered.

Kirara trilled then darted after her. Both stopped seeing Espio was asleep, still holding onto the meat cleaver, on Vector’s bed with the black cat curled up beside her. Vector bit her lower lip again and slid in along the wall quietly toward her backpack. The cat shifted making her stop for a few moments before she clawed at the bag and grabbed it after a few moments. She pulled out some clothing quickly and darted back out with them both still asleep.

----

Kirara meowed and looked back at the house from Vector’s shoulder. She then mewed and whimpered as she faced forward.

“I hope I can still help her…” Vector said sadly as she glanced back.

Kirara meowed and lowered her ears as she laid over Vector’s shoulder.

“For now, we can’t come back.” Vector breathed out after a few moments.
