A Dark Night of Lust
Brought to you by, Kyoko Ngo
Part Nine
"Dead...
How could I be Dead?" Ai asked repeated as her astral projection
form watched over Michael and Zack. They fell to their knees beside
her lifeless form on the bed of flowers, now, encircling her body.
The vines had pulled out the swords and set them aside on separate
beds of flowers. Just then did a soft voice that sounded like two
voices, one was a woman's and another was man's, both voices
overlaying each other, it said, "You are not dead, my
daughter..." She turned sharply and her astral projected hair
going wispily and blur almost smoke like before it formed again,
settling on her shoulder. "G-G-God?' Ai stuttered. "Yes, my
child, you are not dead though merely in an everlasting sleep..."
Ai was confused by this and asked, "What do you mean?" As a
smoky figure settled on the ground and a patch of flowers appeared
beneath Ai. She guessed she still had the same powers as before.
Flowers would grow where her feet once were. "You just simply
need to wake up..." Came the doubled voice again. Ai was not
looking upon anything in particular, other than a white whisky
looking cloud form. "What on earth do you mean? I was stabbed
not once but twice! How can I just merely be asleep?! I CANT WAKE UP
FROM DEATH!" Ai shouted, now, silvery colored liquid spilling
from her eyes. These were now, her tears, she being the purest form
of a being. In other words, her virginity was now, returned to her.
"Calm down, my child..." The white cloudy form floated
over to her and whispered around her encircling her. She looked over
at her body, on the bed of flowers, as it started floating. It was
glowing a bright blue and her wounds were healing. "Like I said,
my child... You just simply need to wake up. Make your choice, now.
You must chose either Zack, the son of Lucifer, or Michael, the arch
angel who was sent to watch over you." Mentally Ai had made her
choice. With that a bright blue light surrounded her and her whippy
form was gone. She had a warm feeling around her and felt the flowers
against her skin from beneath her. Her eyes fluttered open and she
gasped in her new first fresh breath of air.
Ai let out a soft whimper as a burning sensation filled her veins. She sat up and looked around. Her eyes settled on Michael, who was still crying silently with his head on his knees. His great big white feathered wings were encasing his body protectively as he cried silently over Ai's death. She looked around for Zack but could not find him. She heard that gentle voice again and she looked over at a the same white whisky cloud. "With your choice, you took the life of the other to ensure your own life to go on. Sacrifice one to live happily with the other. Live well, my child..." With that last statement the cloud was gone. Ai sighed, knowing that Zack was gone, but he will always be a part of her heart. She gently rose to her feet and walked silently over to Michael, who still there, crying while curled up on the ground. As she walked over to him, black and red roses formed from where she once set foot on. She guessed it was Zack's doing, having the colors of the flowers change to those specific ones. Before her eyes, the flowers changed back to white and she knew that Zack was truly gone now. Her attention turned back to Michael and she smiled. Ai covered her hand with the other and slowly separated them revealing a white rose with blue edges on the petals. They resembled the colors of Michael's wings. She gently blew on the rose and it disappeared. Hundreds of petals of the same exact color floated from the sky and landed on her and Michael. He slowly looked up, his face and tears stained blue. His eyes settled on her face and he just stared at her. "Michael, my love..." Ai said quietly as she got to her knees in front of him. He sprang up from his knees and knocked Ai over as he pressed his lips to hers, kissing her repeatedly. "I thought I had lost you.' He made out in between the kisses. She giggled softly and shook her head. "I would never leave without saying goodbye, Michael...
