Left in the darkness

Hearts wander blindly

Yet darkness is calming

Breeding fear none the less

Peace of mind is out of reach

Yet it stays within sight

Taunting, calling, beckoning

“Come, try to catch me...”

Running through the dark of night

Finding contentment in the shadows

Is there another way?

Is there truth within these lies?

Truth

Manipulated by man

Accepted by weak minds

Questioned by the wills of others

For what is truth without question?

Calamity

Accepted by many

Challenged by few

Those few get the blame

Those few are pushed away

The darkness breeds fear

Yet is glorious if you please

Glory is man’s creation

But is fear not the same?
