A/N: This is a song I wrote while standing outside in a thunderstorm. I’ve found that a storm is soo inspiring. Anyway, it’s about the different aspects, I guess, of a storm, different ways to view it.

)O(

Your cleansing rain washes the earth,

Your gales sweep dirt away,

Your lightning illuminates all that is new,

Your thunder calls a new day.

-----

Your mighty rain pounds to the ground,

Your gales tear through the air,

Your lightning strikes down and burns holes in the earth,

Your thunder roars to scare.

-----

Your tearful rain falls to the ground,

Your gales howl and sigh,

Your lightning shows harshness of reality,

Your thunder bellows and cries.

-----

Your gentle rain patters its tune,

Your gales sing soft and sweet,

Your lightning clashes and crashes along,

Your thunder drums out the beat.

-----

Your aiding rain fills open hands,

Your gales dance though the sky,

Your lightning and thundersong show us our way,

As we live and we love and we die.

)O(

A/N: Again, this has a tune to go with it, so the beat might seem a bit off at times. Love to hear what you think!
