I'm glad it ended this way
I won't have to worry
About you anymore
What you think,
What you do,
How you treat me.
I'll depart
Remembering how
It was never worth it.
You were never worth it.
This life had so much more
To offer to me than you.
Some day, somehow,
In some other life
I'll remember to
Keep in mind
All of our happy memories.
However few they may have been.
That I had this experience
Because now, I won't
Judge others so quickly, or
Notice their flaws as easily.
I'll look on the bright side,
Even if that means
Looking forward to my afterlife.
