Knight’s Lullaby: Shortened version

--

I have spread tainted wings, soaring above,

Leaving behind heavy commotion,

As morning shades arise,

Illuminating dim emotions

--

It rings louder than silent prayers,

And stronger than a hundred cries,

Grey ashes upon my heart,

I carry to the eternal skies

--

Alas, during every stormy wind,

Surpasses a phoenix to adorn,

And within tender hands,

A virgin hope will be reborn

--

When water dries from distant valleys,

And stars diffused in vast lengths,

Barren aches can be overcome,

And life in paradise, with many strengths

--

Even from the shattered pieces,

Of frozen tears surrounding,

A rainbow can stretch above,

With calls of love resounding
