We

We all helped to light the way.

Team work is the almighty way.

I laughed with the children so they marched in line on.

I laid the tracks for the train to run on.

In the Blue sky and sterile sun.

They hummed tunes and did not run.

Horizon looked without personality on.

Let them pass, train pulling them along.

No thunder bolts to save his sons.

God let the Jews pass soundlessly on.

Pulled by a train into the decaying beyond.

In a blink of an eye they are gone.

Germany closed their eyes to the Jewish nation.

Watched them slip away in the night.

No questions to be asked.

They knew why.

Off to Auschwitz their souls would fly.

To Poland.

On, on and soundlessly on.

Over the green grass fields and on.

I was the one that plowed the snow.

I was the one who came up with the ideas you know.

I was the one who guarded them in camp.

I was the one who put them out as one blows out a lamp.

Drain them from the tree of Germany like sap.

Scorch them from the worldly map.

From the paper like tiresome drops of ink,

Into the smoke they will sightlessly sink.

I was the one who drove the train.

I was the one who turned them to ash and rain.

I have no shame.

I feel no pain,

Black sky and Bloody sun.

Tied together they could not run

Some fell down though.

They did not get up.

I was the one who opened the doors.

As all the people passed through before

Before…

Holes for eyes,

Ignorant of their coming demise.

I was the one who led the way, row by row.

My hands were numb like the snow.

I was the one who took their clothes,

How they fell, row by row.

I was the one that closed the floor

Closed the floor, in a room without a door.

I was the one who the crystals sprinkled

In the Zyklon their childish lungs wrinkled

And bloodless veins pumped poison

As they stumbled into the gas.

Teeth pulled out for Gold.

As they stumbled into the fog.

Nameless forever more.

As they stumbled through human hate.

The death of innocence.

Drowned in God’s love.

Drowned in a salute and a smile.

Hail, as the Jewish Child,

Falls down.

None were spared.

How they screamed!

We are the ones that let them die.

We were the ones that did not sigh.

We smiled.

We never saw them again.

We smiled.

Opus blotted out by men.

We sleep in safe beds in our old age,

With the snow falling outside, history turns the page.

Something we denied them of.

A future.

Guiltless murders.

Sightless justice.

Under the ever watchful sight of God.

We burnt the human score.
Man's morality is barren and raw.

Injustice made to be the law.

Fragments that fracture like flaws.

I’ll sure you the Jewish Nation in a handful of dust.

I’ll show you man’s purpose as soot and rust.

Hail Hitler.

Hands raise like prayers.

Chant the Jews have no worth

A new Demigod upon the earth.

They all fall down.

They all fall down.

Before my salute like human matchsticks.

That easily burn away.
