Late Teen Crisis
Written by- Christopher Murphy
I don’t want to stay here anymore,
It’s just too much
She knows now how I feel,
It’s time I got out of touch
Death would be the easy way out,
But hey no big loss
I hate life as it is,
I’d end it but at what cost
So sweet dagger,
Claim my life
I sick and tired of,
all this strife
What does it matter,
If I’m gone
I could care less,
It’s cause of you I carry on
I’m having a late teen crisis,
And there’s nothing I can do
I’m having a late teen crisis,
It came about when I met you
I wish I could solve this,
With a simple melody
I’m having late teen crisis,
No one can help me
I’m a lost cause,
No longer should you care
What you truly think of me,
Is visible through your stares
Miserable doesn’t describe,
Anywhere near what I am
I see no point,
To keep living this sham
I’m having a late teen crisis,
And there’s nothing I can do
I’m having a late teen crisis,
It came about when I met you
I wish I could solve this,
With a simple melody
I’m having late teen crisis,
No one can help me
How can people stay positive,
In a world filled with doubt.
I guess ignorance is bliss,
I wish I could just get out
Optimism is lost to me,
All that’s left is negativity
Give me a reason to stick around,
Or I’ll be buried underground
I envy the dead,
Their problems are done
Mine are just beginning,
I have nowhere I can run
If others will care,
That I am gone
Why do they matter,
I don’t have to go on
I’m having a late teen crisis,
And there’s nothing I can do
I’m having a late teen crisis,
It came about when I met you
I wish I could solve this,
With a simple melody
I’m having late teen crisis,
No one can help me
Fighting to survive,
For a tomorrow that stay the same
None of you will understand,
It is useless to detain
The evitable will come,
Though you may sit and veg
But this late teen crisis
Has brought me to the edge
