Wipe the Tears from Your Eyes

Whispering
I know they’re talking telling lies
Paranoid
Everyday another dies

Terror that
Hides inside of what we say
Endlessness

To all the weary games we play
Emptiness
Another broken soul to take
Rotting like
So many failures that we make

Falling now
Revealing lines we cut too deep
On the edge
Maybe now I’ll get some sleep

Yes I know
Often that I am too cruel
Ugliness
Regretting everything I do

Empathy
Yearning just to be a part
Echoes now
Scared I’ve somehow lost my heart?
