Gingerbread Man

Running so fast,

This little man runs,

Jumping around,

And waving his buns…

Eyes made of currants,

With cherries placed on,

Don’t eat me!” he says,

And runs past the lawn…

The lady gets mad,

She chases the man,

But quickly he runs,

As fast as he can…

Though soon he is chased,

By everyone near,

He reaches the river,

Where met by a fear…

The fox was quite sly,

And gave him a “ride”,

But poor Mr. Gingy,

Was eaten and died...

And that’s how it goes,

He wasn’t so fast,

The day he was baked,

Was also his last.
