Human beings will always seek
To stand at high on dominant peaks.
We are not the lords of Earth
Yet claim it so since specie’s birth.
The superiority of man
Is said to lie in a five-fingered hand.
Creative and destructive force
Can interfere with Nature’s course.
But men are not immortal stone
They’re merely built of flesh and bone.
Though a lack of strength is clear
Men vanquish all that they may fear.
Inescapable facts remain
Immortalities yet unattained.
What elemental luck hath wrought
Shall very quickly be forgot
When Nature’s fury starts anew
None shall escape the Horsemen’s view.
