Spending Money

Money problems

aren’t good things,

especially not

to ignore.

So why does Dad

give me everything

what I want

and sometimes more?

Why am I

not refused

when I ask

for trips or clothes?

Why refuse me

only when

I ask to pay myself?

And why give me

all these things

and then complain

of little money?

Why act like

it’s all our faults

when you

spent money too?

I don’t know,

I don’t care.

I’m fourteen,

but you’re immature.

Set restrictions

before I loose

all our money

and maybe then

all my sense

of right and wrong.
