Teacher?

Stands up
In front of us
Babbles
In monotone
Geometry
Bores me
Not because
Of subject matter
Because my teacher
Cannot teach

He stands
And lectures
His demands
Are insane
He’ll switch
From pushover
To hard-ass
No warning
Leaving students
Very perplexed

My teacher is old
Balding and male
His voice is quiet,
Aged and dull
Back in the class
After a break
Twenty-ish years
Is much too long
To take time off
From teaching

He’s forgotten
The skill he needs
To teach us
Effectively
Mumbles, mutters
Unclear directions
Leaves us clueless
About math
One should teach with
More than worksheets

I’ll once again
Reiterate
Just to drive
My point home
Geometry
Bores me
Not because
Of subject matter
Because my teacher
Cannot teach
