A Christian’s Journey

People in the world today are all stuck on something. Whether it is money, sex, drugs, alcohol, abusive relationships, or many other various things. Whatever it is we can’t let go, it is a piece of our lives that we use to give us security; a bit of a problem solver. But then, as humans, we eventually find that it isn’t satisfying anymore, and we feel there’s something we’ve missed out in life. So, after wasting the time God has given us on these temporary highs, our eyes are finally opened, and we have a clear view that there is really more to life. Of course, trials will cause us to get weak, and fall in too deep, but after the mistakes comes the realization that the only One that is able to grasp our dirty hands and help us back on our feet, when we’ve not the strength to dig our own selves out of these holes of pain and suffering is that person who raised from the dead. The world needs to turn from all the sin, and face God.

He created us for a distinct reason, and He has a perfect plan in order to bless our time on this old earth. We can always depend on the fact that whenever needed, we bounce back into His loving arms. He is Lord over His creation, and undoubtedly there to guide us in truth. God tests our faith in Him, and He promises something the world could never possibly offer; a more abundant fulfillment you could ever imagine. If we’d feel all alone again, in the cold, in the dark, you must remember that God is a God of all comfort. He freely gives security in the most desperate, desolate, place; something we all were trying to grip in ungodly things as mentioned above. Please, give your heart to Him, and the mending will begin. God’s genuine concern will bring you to a precious moment of growth. The strengthening will start. The Christian attitude will take over. At this point in time, you can then share the Gospels with others whom do not understand how important a relationship with the Almighty is. They will become as fortunate as we are with a Christian’s integrity to, with His anointment, save their souls. Now! We have a supernatural mission to spread this gift of change. Assuredly, Satan shall pursue after you with tribulations, trying to consume you. Hesitation will continue from time to time in our own mortal weaknesses. We can get to sure of our own strength, due to the human nature, consisting of self-pride. We may even analyze that we don’t need God, when we most definitely do. We begin to wonder if He is strong enough, pure enough, to help me start again. However, afterwards, in humility and on bended knee we beseech, “Can I not start again? Can I not renew my relationship with You?” He then reveals His gleaming mercy, His shimmering grace that looks so gorgeous to us in a time of need, and we are grateful for His second chance on our souls. Through such a learning experience we understand that our scars won’t ruin all God’s plan. Not only do we witness His nature of kindness, but His nature of immense love. You and I are His disciples; His apostles. We may not have anything to offer but the simplicity of just ‘me’, but He can shape our failures into an incredibly firm ability to serve Jesus Christ, and to serve others. God uses broken hearts to heal broken lives. Now we have a refreshed, broader, substantial, and improved relationship between us, and the Adonai. The perfected One, Jesus, steers us in His perfected ways.

We make numerous wrong choices each day; yet, He loves us and will never betray humanity, no matter the size of the burden on our shoulders. Sometimes I think, “How could He ever consider me His child! I am so rotten!” But amongst with His undying divinity, He will forgive our sins, and through God, not look back on those passed faults, but look on to the winding road and work to do the best to please Him in the coming future. By forgetting what has been done or said, and by genuine repentance of those mistakes, we have a tighter friendship with Jesus. We are weak, but through Him we are durable!

We are now stuck on the Christ, instead of being stuck on worldly desires, worldly highs, which soon to be discovered are only temporary and shall rust and wither in the end. He is our more to life, and our search for that more to life is complete. He has many promises to us that will endure. He is our security, and He is strong enough to be the One who keeps us on track to get us through whatever life throws our way. His nature is love; and His love is like no other love. Love… that is eternal. A Christian’s journey may be tough, rough, and we may just drop down on our knees and say, “I give up.” but with reassurance and encouragement, the rewards of our perseverance are beyond what we can only imagine. Life without this supreme God is ignorant, insecure, and doomed for hell. The feeling of such a meaningful safety is only found in the Creator of the universe, the Creator of life, the Creator of you. He is the Almighty Redeemer, the Prince of peace, the Father, the King of kings, Lord of lords. Every knee shall bow in the end, but the greater treasure lies for those who choose to accept Him now. Once we truly know God’s personality and the blessings He rains down upon us, when we spend eternity in His presence, we will then praise His everlasting love… forever.

Strong Enough” by Stacie Orrico

I rest upon this cold, hard wall

Oh, will You pass me by

Will You criticize me as I sit and cry

I had fought so hard

And thought that all my battles had been won

Only to find the war had just begun

CHORUS:

Is He not strong enough

Is He not pure enough

To break me, pour me out, and start again

Is He not brave enough

To take a chance on me

Please, can I have one more chance to start again?

Will my weakness for an hour

Make me suffer for a lifetime

Is there any way to be made whole again

If I’m healed, renewed, and find forgiveness

Find the strength I’ve never had

Will my scars forever ruin all God’s plan?

He took my life into His hands

And turned it all around

In my most desperate circumstance

It’s there I finally found

CHORUS 2:

That You were strong enough

That You were pure enough

To break me, pour me out, and start again

That you were brave enough

To take one chance on me

Thank you for my chance to start again

I wrote this when I heard that song by Stacie and fell in love with it, and then skimmed over it and thought it needed a nice, revamp. So, here it is, with the song included. This essay is very special to me because it is from the depths of my heart, and someone actually left a review and told me they had accepted Jesus. Glory to Him!
