One More Chance

The day finally comes,
When I push you too hard.
Threads of trust and caring,
Broken.
A break,
You say we need it
But it hurts me
I didn't want this to happen
It was never supposed to come.
Our world was happy,
It should always be that way.
But I suppose this is a test,
A test of our strength,
Our love.

Though I'm glad you're willing to try again,
Pick up our pieces and put them
Back together.
This time I'll show you
It wasn't a mistake.
This other chance that your giving me.
I promise I'll show you it wasn't a mistake,
Your love given to me.
It means worlds to me
And I'm glad.
For one more chance.
