Just a little thing that popped into my head one night when I couldn't sleep. Please let me know what you think.

I'd like to give a big thanks to for reviewing my other poem, "Whippoorwill". I really appreciate it! (In reply to your question, Whippoorwills aren't very common where I live. We have more Robins and Cardinals.)

Summer House

I made myself a summer house

Of flowers and things of green,

And made pretend to wear within

A pair of fairy wings.

How lovely was my summer house!

So beautiful, so carefree!

But all things come to end sometime

And so it was with me.

For when the cold wind came to blast.

My house, alas, it could not last!

Please review! Criticism welcome!
