The darkness stays,

Clouding my soul.

Soon, the day will break,

And the silver moon rise.

The beast that rage

Within, shall be released.

Villagers, beware,

Hear me howl.

I wish not,

Want not.

The fury bite

Takes hold.

No light shall I see,

I’m forever bound.

The forest path,

I’ll follow.

I’m no longer man,

But not a beast.

I am neither,

And I am both.

With a shot of silver

Might I be free?

Could I, will I

Be free in death?
