Subtle Suicide;

You never knew that she was sad
She just seemed fit and fine.
Oh, she’s just fine, but you don’t now
What’s going through her mind.

In every corner of her world
All she ever sees
Are rusting razors, nails, and knives
That taunt and jeer and tease.

They filled her every thought and whim
They leeched onto her life.
And gore-filled visions kicked her soul
Each time she touched a knife.

She no one helped her, no one knew
Why she was gone that day.
It wasn’t till three weeks gone by
Her boyfriend came to say:

“I found a certain something strange:
She left without a kiss.
I searched her room five times that day
And soon I had found this.”

He lifted one, then two and three
All black and red with curse,
He looked at all the dead, dried blood
And then whispered “It’s hers.”
