Epilogue

Twilight stood within the Hall of the Fey. Krauer was a short distance away from her, his back was leaning against the wall in his usual way. After they had released Lord Arawn and his small group of warriors, they had returned to Orlantha. Sadly enough, Krauer’s mother had died during the time they were away. She looked so serene as she lay in her bed, with a smile on her face as though she knew Monserrate was dead. After burying Orlantha they returned here to take up residency within the Hall. Les had decided shortly after to change her name to Twilight in remembrance of her fallen friend.

“Is everyone else complying with the new rules of these lands?” She heard Krauer shift and begin walking towards her. “So far they seem to be doing thusly. Most of the villagers are pleased with your new rulership. They are afraid of Twilight’s Hour, though most understand why you set it in place. The others, well, the others learn quickly.” Twilight turned back to him with a slight grin. “Good. Things are going to change for the better now.” Walking away her smile grew wider, this was her world now and no one would ever take it from her.
