She watched her world
With a stocking cap over her face
Never muttered defiance
Never without grace
She always smiled at her clients
And ignored their awful taste
She'd say what made them happy
Told them they were god
Regardless of whether she felt crappy
She'd stay there all night long
The morning came way too soon
She missed the shadows of the moon
She wandered aimlessly in the street
With pacing glances, and rambling feet
The car was coming way to fast
She knew her life just wouldn't last
She embraced herself
And prayed fro god to forgive her past
She was swept away in a wave of glass.
