Turns out I'm back in business, sorry it's so short.
Chapter 13
Kazi woke up abruptly in fright, only to find himself curled up on the forest floor. He sat up shakily pushing his sweaty hair out of his face. His breath was uneven and he had to force himself to calm down. He couldn't take this stress anymore. Maybe it was time for a break. Maybe that's what Jaze wanted. He'd be doing them both a favor, it wasn't meant to be anyways. With that resolute thought in mind, Kazi went off to go search for Jazon and tell him the good news.

After an hour of searching for Jaze in all his usual spots, Kazi collapsed on the couch in the library that the group liked to hang out in. He didn't want to wait any longer, if he did he might not be able to do it, and he had to, there was no other choice. With a deep sigh, Kazi finally opened up his mind to contact Jaze. At first he couldn't feel Jazon, and that almost frightened him more than his incredibly too vivid dream, but before he could panic, Kazi felt him, he was sleeping…in Lars' study.
Kazi felt his anger growing, the little twerp had only one reason to go to Lars and that was to talk about him. That meant that Fey knew about their argument, and would no doubt tell Trichi, his mentor, who would corner him and make him explain tomorrow. Jaze must have known that!
"Gah," Kazi growled, irate, before stalking to the room that held his former boyfriend. When he tried the door, it was locked. Checking quickly for any traps, Kazi quickly channeled through the door picking the lock when he found none. He slammed the door behind him, and glared at Jaze who blinked confusedly at him.
Jaze tilted his head to the side. "K-Kazi? What's going on? Are you…What's wrong?"
"You! It's over. I can't stand you anymore. You're so damn annoying and selfish, I can't even believe I ever saw anything in you, Vin was right about you," Kazi ended growling just a bit too loudly for that time of night. Then he ran out of the room, making sure to slam the door behind him, and desperately trying to stop the tears from coming down, he needed Vin, but he knew Vin would just tell him to apologize, even though Vin hadn't like Jaze at first, he did now, and Kazi wasn't going to apologize. Hardening his face, Kazi walked into a meditation room and sealed it strongly behind him.

Jazon stared at the door, still waking up. What had just happened? Sure they had been arguing a bit lately, but they had made up, and then…it was all his fault. He didn't even really care that he had lost his spot, if he hadn't complained…maybe Kazi wouldn't have broken up with him. And suddenly it hit Jaze. Kazi wasn't his anymore, there'd be no more cuddling at night. And. He wouldn't have to stop Kazi from touching him in the hallways. And… what was going to happen about their friends? With the exception of Emial they were all friends with Kazi first, and Emial was friends with Darren.
Jaze's head hurt, and his chest felt strangely constricted. He curled up in a tight ball and eventually fell asleep.

"Hey have you guys seen Kazi?" Vin asked, walking over to Darren, Trina, and Emial who sat at the dining hall table picking at their breakfast.
"No, but I haven't seen Jaze either, they probably just found some empty room to make up in," Trina snickered.
"Yeah, you're probably right," Vin agreed before wandering off and coming back with a bowl of the questionable stew.

Lars walked into his office humming happily to himself before he noticed Jaze still curled up on the couch sound asleep, which was weird. He thought the boy would have woken up by now for breakfast, and he had class to. Lars gently reached out a hand to shake the boy, and was startled to find Jaze radiating tension and pain before he even touched him.
Jazon opened his eyes blearily, wiping the grit that had gathered in them, he squinted up at Lars, "Lars? Wha-…?" he started to ask groggily before it hit him and he whispered a soft 'oh' before moving to stand up, "I…I better get to class. Thankyou," Jaze said, his head hurting and everything just feeling tense.
"Sit down, you're in no condition to go to class, I'll contact your teachers and get you excused later, but now, tell me what happened. You were fine when I left you last night," Lars demanded gently, sitting down beside him.
"It's nothing. I'll be fine," Jazon said, scooting away warily.
"Jazon."
"He broke up with me!" Jaze said angrily, before whispering quietly, "He said I was a mistake, he said he regrets it."

A/n: yeah. So I started university, and we had midterms this week, so instead of studying I picked up this story, reread it, and I kind of like it, though I wish it wasn't mind because I want to read more, and well I'm afraid I'm not doing my storyline justice, though it is supposed to go somewhere, just getting it to go somewhere is the hard part. So thankyou all for saying that I should continue and I will! Though I have over 24 hours of class a week, and am carrying a humungous load of units, compared to most other colleges I'm told, though not compared to others at mine. I'm supposed to spend 49 hours/week in academics studying/class/hw etc. (computer science awesome like that :D). the point of this is if you're still reading it I probably won't update as often but this story will continue.
