If you can without looking like a weirdo, read this aloud.

Homogeneity

The dog was about to cross the road when "BANG!", there was a loud noise. Suddenly, the dog was lying down on the road, bleeding. Without warning, a bright light exploded from the sky.

A woman screamed. People started to get out into the street and swarm towards the scene. And the bright light, a meteor, was hurtling down towards the earth from the sky.

The people were running in all directions, confused, excited and frantic, trying to watch the scene and at the same time making a futile attempt to escape from the meteor. "Is this the end of the world?" they wondered. Meanwhile, the dog bleeding on the road lay forgotten.

It was at this point that another dog saw him. Pitying the bleeding dog, he took him and gave him a bone. The two dogs shared the bone, and the first dog recovered.

But the meteor had hit the Pacific Ocean. The impact was so great, it caused a tsunami. It was the biggest tsunami that the world will ever see.

Seeing the tsunami, the recovered dog panicked. In desperation, he ran away, leaving the dog that helped him. Left behind, the second dog was enraged.

The second dog then turned into a 100-foot monster, trying to find the first dog for revenge. He breathed fire out of his mouth, burning everything that came his way. So wrapped up in revenge was he that he had forgotten about the tsunami.

The tsunami was about to swallow him when "BOG!", I fell off my bed. I panicked, realizing that my alarm clock had been ringing for the past five minutes. I was already late for my class!

I hurriedly put on my shoes and ran for the door. I was about to step outside when "BANG!", there was a loud noise. And a dog was lying down on the road, bleeding.

Sarah's note: My groupmates and I wrote this for our Speech Communication class. The instruction was for us to pass a paper around and write three sentences each without consulting the other writers. The catch was: we had to write as if only one person wrote the whole thing. The result was hilarious.
