Author's Note: Once again, I ask for some advice on how to make stanzas in this new feature on fp (the ones where you can makebolds and italics). Even when I double space the stanzas and do not have any spacing between the lines, it ends up all spaced out equally. Anyone can offer some advice? Hence, the hyphens signify the start or end of a stanza. The iambic pentameter is a bit strange, but do leave a review! Thank You!

Reign of The Night Queen

The guardian of the day has long set

Crimson tinge bordering the clouds gone.

The gentle aura of the beautiful lady near

The night's first coruscating courtiers are born.

-

Emerging from her veil of cloud,

She attracts invitations for a dance.

The ends of her lily white and yellow gown

Trail across the shadowed lands.

-

A round continent amidst the sky

She guides the Sandman in his quest during the night

Witnesses rendezvous reuniting forbidden lovers

Infiltrating the fingers of darkness with moonlight.

-

Time is constant; more than still

She casts beams of wistful glances around

Reluctant to retire from the throne she has claimed

From the starry night where her beauty is crowned.

-

The fiery guardian arises to take his place

Towards her own sanctuary, she steals away.

The breaking dawn clamours for attention

And until the wolves call, in her haven she'll stay.
