Manuscripts write themselves,

with only virtual ink and plastic keys.

Memories sear minds,

fire brands on brains.

Even releasing these thoughts on

paper

does not banish them forever.

Always they loll into balmy summer days

wasted on hammocks and invade

a happy sunny disposition

souring it.
