A/N: All of my Holocaust Poems were separate before… but I decided to combine them to clean up my account a little bit…. I’ll put the reviews I’ve already gotten from other people at the end of each poem… new reviews are always welcome and returned! anyway, here's the poem.... lol!

Falling down from Heaven,
Raindrops meet my head.
Falling down from Heaven,
They wash away horrors unsaid.
Cascading down from Heaven,
Water droplets cleanse my tears.
Cascading down from Heaven,
They diminish all of my fears.
Living in nothing like Heaven,
My joy was stripped away.
Living in nothing like Heaven,
I was afraid to even pray.
Coming as if from Heaven,
The Allied soldiers rescued me.
Coming as if from Heaven,
They truly set me free.
Falling down from Heaven,
Raindrops meet my head.
Falling down from Heaven,
They say to find the joy as of yet unsaid.

Keith Andrew: Really cool, yet again greatly capturing the feeling, very well done

Moroni’s Daughter: I loved the imagery. So many times it feels like the rain is God's way of healing me and cleansing me from all my troubles. I liked the fact that you mixed sadness and joy together. Most Holocaust poems are solely fear, anger, and angst. Adding a touch of hope gave it strength. Though the character is vague. It would be nice to read this from a distinct perspective such a child, or a mother, or even all the victims together as a whole. Then again, it does sort of sound like a voice whispering in the wind, telling a tale of long ago. Just try to make it less vague. Altogether, this is great. Most poems I read based on school are assignments are kind of wimpy, but you managed to put your heart into your school work as well. Power to you! -ttfn!

Joey7691: This is so good! I love it. It touched my heart. It's in my fave's

LaFramboise: This poem is really good. The Holocaust is one of my favorite subjects in history. It's terrible to say, but it's so intriguing to me. I guess it's how the human race could be so cruel at times, and yet there was still hope. That's enough rambling for now. Thanks again for the review.

softlycryingrain: Rain! I like rain! anyways.. I loved it! wonderful job! very sad and touching. keep writing! I've read all your poems now, and loved every single one! That's enough exclamation points for now... Kat
