My world is crashing
Down before me
Right in front of my eyes
My life is changing
Faster than I ever dreamed
You don’t need me anymore
Yet I need you now more than ever
I sit here with the music playing
Enthusiasm all around me
The tears, the silent tears
Streaming down my face
As the room grows cold
I shiver slightly, looking around
It seems as though
I’m the only one who senses the cold
Which makes me wonder
Is it really as cold as I think?
Or is it just my sadness taking over
Engulfing me in a world
A world I know so well
A world in which I am alone.
