Diamonds in an Umber Sky
Diamonds in an umber sky, too far away to hear my cry
Silver moon and sun of gold, riches I shall never hold
Silken winds so light and free never shall envelop me
And in emerald sheets of grass I tread, but never more shall lay my head
The glamour of Earth is gone
No dragon shall unfold his wings, no kingdom with his voice shall ring
The banshee's wild and mournful cry drowns the Mother's lullaby
No more the legends shall unfold, left behind in days of old
The world's no more a place to treasure, forgotten wealth, forsaken pleasure
The dreams of Earth are gone
