Love That Never Happened

(A/N: A collection of poems about love that couldn't happen for some reason. Enjoy.)

Read Me Like An Open Book

Tired of heartache I hide myself away
Covered by a thick wall of stone
Because my heart is made of glass
For years I've rested in my hard shell
So cold to anyone who dares to come near
That all changed when you arrived

You read me like an open book
My feelings obvious to you
All the details of my thoughts
Photographed in your mind
Even though I used a lock
You had the key
You read me like an open book

Sometimes by my window I wonder
What made so heartless to begin with
Been so long I can't remember
But I know the time will end

You read me like an open book
My feelings obvious to you
All the details of my thoughts
Photographed in your mind
Even though I used a lock
You had the key
You read me like an open book

But now someone's in your life
And our distance has grown
I haven't heard your voice
Touched your hair
Be there next to you
For a while
But I still think of you
As I lie here in my hard shell

Jina-chan: A lot of people think I can't write love poems. "Too vague," some say. Well it is very hard to write romantic stuff when you never really had the feeling. But I hope this has some clue that I can do it. (pause) I like this poem very much. lol. Review everyone.
