Window of Darkness

A window of darkness

No sunlight shines through.

I call out your name,

No sign of you.

I cry inside

But the darkness sees nothing.

Running down the hall,

I call out your name.

The darkness’ answer is always the same.

The light in my heart

You used to be.

That light had left forever.

Forever without me.
