Forthcoming doom

However Nature will have her vengeance,

When the callous beings cast the stone:

How many cries in silent repentance?

The spirits have vanished, the woods, mutilated

When Man, tyrannical, seizes life’s throne :

However Nature will have her vengeance.

When the Earth is viciously devastated,

When the sea is tainted, when the storms moan :

How many cries in silent repentance?

The fleeing souls by tender Nature created

Gasp for the corroded relics to the bone:

However Nature will have her vengeance.

And when the forsaken horizon is fated,

Saturating the sombre Ocean’s tone:

How many cries in silent repentance?

Supremacies are not everlastingly sated,

For we men destroy and neglect alone:

However Nature will have her vengeance,

How many cries in silent repentance?
