A few months later…

“Come on Crescent!” Momiji called from the doorway. Clad in lime green swimming trunks, he stood by the door, aching to open it. “The water isn’t going to swim itself!”

“I’ll be out in a moment!” Crescent called from the bedroom. He was sitting on the bed, next to the dresser, holding the picture in his hands. He smiled as he ran his finger gently over the glass, stroking a figures face. “Hm…” he picked up the picture of Bandit and himself and put it to the side and sat a new one down.

In the picture were Momiji and himself. Momiji and Crescent took a picture of themselves, Momiji pulling up Crescent’s shirt to expose his Crescent moon tattoo. It was almost like the other…just with one difference…the two were kissing, neither looking directly into the lens.

Crescent smiled at it once more before getting up and leaving the room. “Hey Momiji, ready to-…” he froze dead in his tracks, staring at the figure in the doorway.

With ankle length snow-fallen hair, narrow ice blue eyes, and skin as pale as paper, he was a stranger to Momiji. But to Crescent, he was a nightmare.

“Brooklyn?” he asked.

“Hello Crescent…” he replied in a slick tone. “I’m here to pick up my pet…or should I say…brother?”

And so begins another story…
