Wish I was asleep

Oh, the eternal sleep.

The plastic bubble

surrounding my life

is about to explode.

The one that holds the needle,

that person, is me.

Oh, the eternal sleep.

Where's your plastic?

It's in your heart.

That plastic bubble

that makes us go mad.

Not much to do,

not much to say.

Oh, the eternal sleep.

When will my time come?

I ask, I beg,

I kneel and pray.

Do you know where to go?

Do you know which way?

All I know is I can't stay.

My only place to go is to,

oh, the eternal sleep.

Shut my eyes,

take a deep breath,

take the plunge,

take the chance.

To dream forever

and to never regret.

To be asleep in,

oh, the eternal sleep.
