Damned

Some people are given the choice:

Eternal damnation or death.

I wasn't given the choice.

Now I must wander the earth,

Feeding off of those,

Who once were just like me.

I was given unlimited strength

In exchange for weakness,

But I didn't get to choose.

I was given immortality

In exchange for humanity,

But I didn't get to choose.

What drove you

To make me this way?

You took my life

And bound me to you.

What if I didn't want this?

Now I have no choice.

I have been given eternal life.

I have been damned.
