I guess we should start at the beginning. When I met Cara. It was that early Tuesday morning. One of those mornings were you wish to just curl up into a ball and sleep. I was pretty drowsy that morning. I think I was pretty much sleep-walking. Maybe that’s why I was so surprised when I bumped into this petite, brown haired girl, knocking us both to the ground.

I had blushed fiercely. I remember much. For some odd reason, this….dream. Reality? Whatever it is…it’s still vivid.

I remember stuttering like an idiot as I fought to keep my composure.

“I’m s-s-sorry,” I had finally gotten out as I scrambled up to my feet. I grinned bashfully at the girl and offered my own small hand. By now, I remember being completely awake. Almost as if some force of magic had taken away the fatigue.

She smiled softly. Such a heavenly smile Don’t get me wrong…. I’m not after women, but I can’t seem to remember seeing a smile quite like hers. I still haven’t. I’m just surprised she didn’t have a man hanging off of her arm like a treasure she’d gotten to show-off.

She placed her small hand in mine as I lifted her to her feet. “It’s alright.” She had a high-pitched voice. Squeeky, but it had seemed to fit her petite.

I had blushed again as she brushed herself off, as quick as a hummingbird, and waved silently, starting off for her next class. I just stood there: dumbstruck.
