Jacuzzi
Swirling around your back
Massaging gently
Comfortable facility
The bubbles rise above you
Burst
They become part of the air
Some things stress you out
Just like a Jacuzzi
They swirl around you
But comfortably
Just like a Jacuzzi
With these things
Life has a purpose
You know what to do
When these things are over
The burst, like bubbles
Become part of the air
Become part of your life
It's normal.
But sometimes, it gets too dangerous
The Jacuzzi strangely becomes
Like a whirlpool
Wonderful to behold
Over the National Geographic channel
You watch the top student
She seems so powerful
Everything is perfect for her
She handles her studies, her CCAs, everything
So terribly well
But actually
She's getting sucked in
Into the whirlpool
Because she didn’t control the Jacuzzi properly
Because she thought the whirlpool
Would be just as comfortable as the Jacuzzi
Now she has no choice
She has to cope
Or else she will succumb
And get sucked into the never ending
Eye of the whirlpool
Author's note: one of my shortest poems. er, written within five minutes i think. very impulsive. after sitting in the jacuzzi!
