They constantly tell us to be quite as we’re to loud,
making us feel that are young voices aren’t worth listening to.
But what we say and voice now can shape the future,
and what happens to them relies on what we do.
They ignore most of the opinions we make,
and say were filled with negligence when we don’t listen to them.
But our young voices are filled with undiluted wisdom.
Its nothing like the prejudice, bias and judging wisdom that fills them.
On the News we see our friends described as hooligans and thieves.
Our own young voices then announce that we’re thugs.
Then we come home and we, ourselves, are bewildered,
when our parents don’t believe us when we say we don’t take drugs.
The way we dress has become so stereotypical.
Most of us wear XL trousers, hats and tops.
The way we dress just pulls us down further,
making every young voice fair game for the Cops.
If we are the future of this world,
then its high time we started making the right choices.
If we continue to dress and act the way that we do,
they may never learn to listen to our Young Voices…
… we are their future.
