Claustrophobic in the Dark

Dark Clouds hanging around me,

Shifting in the dark.

Sitting beneath the illuminating sky,

Claustrophobic in the dark.

Darkening skies is all I see,

Being consumed in the dark.

Always trapping, never freeing,

Claustrophobic in the dark.

My world is closing in around me,

Nothing speaking, nothing listening.

Stepping into the light, stepping into their sight.

Knowing they will find me.

I'm claustrophobic in the dark.
