Broken Pews And Empty Aisles
All alone in this world full of mirrors,
washing out my memories one by one,
unknown even to me.
All this worrying is time consuming,
is it worth all the hassle?
Friends turn to enemies,
family to demons,
and people we don't know are becoming our closest acquaintances.
Backstabbing is common,
not a misconception,
not simply made up by writers and musicians.
We all believe we are sent from God,
but none of such is true.
We are all little minions of Satan,
we just don't know it yet.
Trust is rare,
nothing is fair.
Love is even harder yet to find,
yet we continue to search.
They say ignorance is bliss,
and most will agree.
Why face what you don't have to?
Why live day after day in misery if
it can all be blocked out?
No one is original anymore,
nothing is new.
All is old and used,
just how we feel.
Fashion is becoming less and less important,
or is it the opposite?
All people care about are others' opinions
that in the end matter none.
Live free, or die young.
